Ubiquity Solar presents its SiGaAs-PVᵀᴹ technology at the PVinMotion Conference and Exhibition
Ubiquity Solar presented its SiGaAs-PVᵀᴹ technology at the PVinMotion Conference and Exhibition, the world’s first scientific conference dedicated to vehicle-integrated photovoltaics. The three day conference was hosted by the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE in Freiburg, Germany.
Ubiquity's presentation discussed the history of high-performance GaAs and GaAs/Si tandem solar cells, pathways to a viable cost structure, and the company's R&D and manufacturing plans.
Ubiquity Solar Strategic Advisor for Business Development Dr. Aarohi Vijh said, "There is unprecedented momentum in both PV and EV markets. PVinMotion provided the ideal forum for the solar and automotive communities to explore cutting-edge PV technologies and frameworks for integrating them into vehicles, and to accelerate taking advantage of a rare synergy of enabling technologies."
